This page points you to resources following up from The Climate Action Tai Tokerau Conference. The trustees thank everybody involved in making it such a successful event. However, we recognise that the ultimate success of the conference will be based on how well we translate ideas into action.

Resources from presenters and workshop facilitators

Presentation and workshop slides along with some additional resources have been linked to the conference main page, the day one presentations page, the day two workshops page and the field trips page. For example, Jack Keeys of the Mana Kai Initiative has included workshop notes and links to more information. These are uploaded as we get permission, so if you can’t find what you are looking for come back in a week or two.

Forward planning

The trustees recognise that a priority is growing the climate action community with the following lines of action:

• Feeding back to participants about the conference.
• Securing a host with a Zoom webinar account to enable a schedule of monthly webinars that can also be adapted as podcasts.
• Developing a map-based directory of organisations with a related kaupapa (does anyone out there have GIS skills to get this started).
• An outreach to schools to help build the network of students with environmental aspirations.
• Developing ideas for in-person gatherings,
• Creating a short list of projects we will pursue funding for.
