Ocean Flyer, Electric SeaGliderS

Low-energy marine transport innovation
Presented by John Hamilton at Climate Action Tai Tokerau’s 2023 conference, the Ocean Flyer Electric Seaglider demonstrates how ocean transport and monitoring can be achieved using extremely low-energy, electrically powered systems, opening new possibilities for emissions-free marine activity. A route is planned from Marsden Point to the Auckland CBD.
