My latest book explores the vital importance on spirituality for healing the climate. I could see the great progress toward the future that wants to emerge, but at the same time, as a species we are incredibly dysfunctional.
The climate crisis is a profound test of humanity’s collective maturity. While technical solutions and innovations are vital, beneficial material solutions must ultimately be grounded in our collective spiritual consciousness. Drawing inspiration from the teachings of the Bahá’í Faith, which views the major religions as successive guidance for an ever-advancing civilisation, my book turns toward possibility. It explores how developing inner capacities, expanding our empathy, and embracing unity in diversity are essential prerequisites for healing the climate. By moving past consumerism and polarisation, we can reclaim our agency. Join the conversation on how we can cultivate the qualities of character and justice needed to shape the regenerative, co-creative future that wants to emerge.
The future of humanity requires we learn to see ourselves as one people, living on one planet.
